C. Chauchat (pronounced 'show-shaw') is man enhancing, man-friend inspired, a pairing of object quality to man, and for men of taste and consideration who dress for themselves and from the heart. Originally made as gifts, each tie was created for the person it was named after. Custom orders are welcome and available upon request.

Based in New York City, C. Chauchat is a collaboration between Curie Choi and Beverly Liang. It is borne of a shared love for that accessory known as man, as well as a mutual appreciation for classic, high-quality garments and hand-tailoring techniques. Choi first studied physics at Virginia Tech before attending Parsons. She went on to apprentice under Isabel Toledo where she learned sample production and design work. Liang majored in anthropology at the University of Chicago, with a particular focus on fashion theory and consumer culture.
